The CFC has a Program Manager, Executive Director, Assistant Director, and a Marketing Assistant that support the UNM community. The program is advised by the Dean of Students Office in conjunction with Nusenda Credit Union.

Greg Golden - Associate Dean of Students

Greg has been at UNM since 2007. He started as a student, served as a new student orientation leader, resident advisor, and involved student. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he accepted a position as a graduate assistant for the associate vice president for Student Life. In 2012, he took a brief hiatus from UNM to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs in 2014. Greg Golden serves a faculty advisor for the Center for Financial Capability.

Michael Martinez - Program Manager, Center for Financial Capability

Michael serves as the program manager for the CFC, supporting the department in their mission to increase financial knowledge for UNM students. Earning both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNM Anderson, he has deep roots at UNM and a strong affinity for the UNM community. Michael has been a part of the CFC since Fall 2021. He is passionate about education and development, and is eager to help students reach their financial goals!

Jayce McCloud - Executive Director, Center for Financial Capability

Jayce is a Sophomore at the University of New Mexico studying Business with a concentration in Marketing at the Anderson School of Management. Jayce joined the center in September 2024, and is excited to help others improve their financial education. He is a passionate leader and hopes to continue to learn and grow during his time at the CFC!

Joshua Garcia - Assistant Director, Center for Financial Capability

Joshua is a Sophomore at the University of New Mexico and is studying Business with a concentration in Human Resources. This is Joshua’s first semester with the CFC, and he aims to become an effective Financial Educator and to further build on the achievements of the CFC.

Andri Peralta - Marketing Assistant, Center for Financial Capability

Andri is a senior graduating in the Spring of 2026. She is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minoring in Communications. During her time at UNM, she has held a variety of leadership and marketing roles, including serving as Chapter President of her sorority, Chi Omega, Marketing Assistant for ASUNM Arts and Crafts, Assistant Director for ASUNM Community Experience, and Marketing Intern for UNM Athletics. Andri hopes to pursue a career in PR and marketing within the fashion and sports industries after graduation.
