The CFC has a Graduate Project Coordinator, Executive Director,  Assistant Director, and a Marketing Assistant. The program is advised by the Dean of Students Office in conjunction with Nusenda Credit Union.

 

Greg Golden- Associate Dean of Students

greg photoGreg has been at UNM since 2007. He started as a student, served as a new student orientation leader, resident advisor, and involved student. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he accepted a position as a graduate assistant for the associate vice president for Student Life. In 2012, he took a brief hiatus from UNM to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs in 2014. Greg Golden serves a faculty advisor for the Center for Financial Capability.

Ria Schultz- Executive Director, Center for Financial Capability

Ria is a Senior at the University of New Mexico Studying Finance and Marketing over at Anderson School of Management. She started as the CFC Assistant Director in October 2023, and is proud to be the director currently. In this role, Ria is passionate about helping students become more financially literate, and connecting students to the resources available on campus. Ria is also proud to be a member of ASUNM and organizations at Anderson School of Management!

Michael Martinez- Graduate Project Coordinator, Center for Financial Capability

Michael is a second-year MBA student who recently completed his undergraduate program in Finance. Michael has worked with the CFC for the last three years, previously serving as the Assistant Director from Fall 2021 to Spring 2023. He currently works with the Center as the Graduate Assistant, providing support to the Directors through various business operations, including campus relationship management, procurement, and strategic planning.

Jayce McCloud- Assistant Director, Center for Financial Capability

Jayce is a Freshman at the University of New Mexico studying Business with a concentration in Marketing at the Anderson School of Management. Jayce joined the center in September 2024, and is excited to help others improve their financial education. He is a passionate leader and hopes to continue to learn and grow during his time at the CFC!

Kaylee Wnek- Marketing Assistant, Center for Financial Capability

Kaylee is a Senior graduating in the Spring of 2025. She is majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing and minoring in Psychology. During her time at UNM, she has worked in a variety of different marketing positions such as Marketing Chair for her sorority, Chi Omega, Marketing Director for Lobos for Wishes, and has served on the elections board for ASUNM. Kaylee hopes to continue her work after college by entering the world of sports media and PR.
